Jarrod is based in Melbourne and holds a Certificate III in General Construction from Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE. He was working with Macleod Aluminium as a Foreman Carpenter, a position which he excels at and he is passionate about the building industry.
He is highly respected for his business ethics and work quality, is dependable and a team player and has ably demonstrated his leadership skills over the last few years in his role as foreman.
On Saturdays he travels back to his home town of Numurkah to assist in coaching the U/14 Football team which he loves doing. He leads a particularly active life participating in boxing training and gym work as well as interests in the AFL, snowboarding, cricket and music. He has developed a passion for travel and has already been to 23 different countries.
Jarrod has plans to firstly travel to Western Canada where he will work during the winter ski season doing hotel maintenance work. In his time off he will take to the slopes on his snow board. From there he will travel to Vancouver to fulfil his AOF award by obtaining a key position within the building industry.
He has a goal to diversify his career experience by gaining experience and knowledge in as many different methods of construction as he can whilst he is away.
